Arc of Iris is a Bremen-based ensemble specialising in historical performance with particular focus on storytelling. Taking Iris, the Greek Goddess of colour, as its namesake, Arc of Iris draws inspiration from the use of colour and texture found in the art of painting and applies those same ideas to music, experimenting with tone colour as a means of expression that transcends language and ink marks on a page. 

As Iris bridges the space between the Gods and mortals, we attempt to transmit the music of previous centuries through the lens of our personal experience and times.
